Tips for writing a guest post for CrazyGirl Nation:

Write a great headline. Draw people in with a catchy headline. It doesn’t have to make sense—just make people want to click on it and read more. Super-simple headlines like “How to ask your boyfriend to take an STD test” draw traffic, but so do imaginative titles like “Open Heart | Open Mind | Happy Life”. Whatever works for what you have written.

Write about something you care about. If you’re thinking about it, so are other people. Comment on something that’s been on your mind or that you have encountered among your friends a lot.

Write in your own voice. Let your passion shine in your writing. Show us Crazy Girls who you really are! No need

Use hyperlinks. Readers love hyperlinks! Use hyperlinks to other articles here at CrazyGirl Nation, to other blogs, articles, etc.

Break up the content. People don’t like reading big blocks of text. Break up the post with sub-headings, bullet points, etc.

Invite people to comment. Ask readers to comment on what you’ve just written. Ask for their own stories, suggestions, advice, etc. This is a community!

Link back to your own blog. Take the opportunity to give yourself a shout-out! Include a bio and a link to your own blog or website.
