I recently discovered the wonderful world of lingerie—no, not pretty panties and bras. I mean the naughty, lacy, Fredericks of Hollywood kind of lingerie. I had been in lingerie stores but I had never seriously considered buying any. It all looked so expensive for so little fabric. However, I received this corset (complete with stockings and all!) as an early Christmas present, and it was so fun to wear! I think I’m addicted.
Lingerie makes sexy time fun and playful, and it also makes it more of an occasion. Corsets are great for us big-busted gals who don’t have flat tummies. It pushes everything into place and makes you look like a vivacious woman from an old Western movie.
Buying lingerie can be a bit intimidating if you’ve never done it before, but everyone has to start somewhere! For those of you who are single, I would recommend starting with buying yourself a beautiful satin wrap to lounge around the house in rather than a full-out corset. No matter how sexy you feel in a corset, those things aren’t comfortable enough to wear just for fun if there is no man there to enjoy them. If you can manage to get it on by yourself, surprising your guy by emerging from the bathroom in one of these is a great way to make him feel special.

The sales rack at fredricks is always teeming with awesome pieces from last season at a HUGE discount. I get a lot of my lingerie there! Also a tip for full figured girls: fredricks is much nicer on the curves than the stick-figure stuff at Victorias.
@Shadiah: Thanks for the lingerie tip! I just bought two Betsey Johnson chemises for half-price from Dilliard’s online. I can’t wait to try them on–just in time for Valentine’s Day!
