There’s a free online program called Wordle that lets you make a tag cloud with words you put in it or words pulled from a site. It’s awesome! Below is the tag cloud generated from this site.
Do I talk about what you want to hear about? Are you surprised by which words are the largest? What about words that aren’t there? Holla at me, crazy girl!
To create your own Wordle and use it:
1. Visit the website and create your tag cloud.
2. Push Function+Print Screen button to copy your entire computer screen.
3. Paste the picture into a slide in Powerpoint.
4. Double-click the picture to bring open the picture editing menu.
5. Crop the image to show only your tag cloud.
6. Right click on the picture.
7. Choose Save as Picture.
8. Save it as a picture and use it wherever you like.
Don’t forget to give Wordle credit! Some poor gal or guy created it while on the clock for IBM and can’t make any money from it! Another reason to work for yourself!
