Shane and I figured out that we HATE receiving gifts (or actually just giving them to each other and other people). We prefer "gifts" that don't take up space or cost money.

I agree with Leah, there should be a "prayer request" section where we submit ideas for you to blog about. Think on it.

Kaneisha, all your self-help knowledge has to be the best thing that's happened to me! You read, I learn. Now I would have to say my love language is affirmations. Even though my last boyfriend was always doing great things through acts of service and gifts, I always complained that he didn't TELL me enough about how wonderful I am and why I he thought I was so wonderful. I felt ungrateful and high maintenance because I knew he was a great bf. Now I realize that he was expressing his love the best way he knew, and I was expressing my love in my own ways (I seldom gave him gifts, but always had encouragement for him). This will be helpful self-awareness as I continue navigating the treacherous path of love!

Eww, I hate when I catch typos too late. I meant "savvy." Ha. Also, why do the comments automatically get converted into all lower-case?

Kaneisha - This is a bit off topic but I was not sure where else to post this.

1. I really liked how your blog spot had your picture on the page that actually had your writing. If you don't want to put your picture up on the main page then maybe some other colorful graphic - even if its just at the top of the page.

2. Is there a specific place to submit blog ideas and other general comments/questions that your readers have? I looked for a few seconds, but didn't notice anything. I think most people who would want to leave a blog idea or a general comment won't take more than a few seconds looking for the link to do that.

3. The answer to this question may be obvious to more tech-saavy people, but I'm unclear on whether or not I can subscribe to this blog. There is the word "subscribe" at the top next to "post" and "comments" but it is not a link. If I subscribe through blogspot will I still receive the blogs? Maybe a bit, bright, colorful SUBSCRIBE button would help.

Hope you are well and keep up the good work.

oooh - sequencing is SO important...although secret voting probably isn't the way to go...

What about growth strategy - I think it could be applied to your personal development. Do you grow geographically and experience new places or grow in products and become a more broadly skilled person? How do you build the capabilities in your early career to reach scale later on?

Keep up the great writing, Kaneisha!!

Hey Kaneisha,

I never thought of our Endesa case as an example of the 5 languages, but it makes perfect sense when you put it in context! Its sad how negotiations can break down just because the different parties simply aren't speaking the same language when trying to communicate what are often similar interests. Given our conversation today, do you think a successful relationship can be built when principles are aligned but interests arent and vise versa? Also, I'd be interested to hear your opinion on whether building a winning or blocking coalition is applicable to the dating world.
And finally, whats next?! A TEM application perhaps?

Keep up the great work!!
